Solidarity: Scotland

Description

Solidarity was a libertarian socialist group founded in 1960 which grew out out of rank-and-file shop steward networks and the emerging anti-nuclear movement. Stuart joined the Scottish chapter of Solidarity after tearing up his membership card of the Labour Party in 1961/2. Andrew Stevens' 3am interview with Stuart in 2004 explores the broader context of Solidarity and the activity Stuart was involved in.
